Colleen and Bridget, I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. My brother, Larry was on his way to Atlanta, GA for the 4th to see Aaron and Lauren when I contacted him with the sad news. Gary was so good to my dad, which is just one example of what a thoughtful and kind man he was. Our prayers are with you.

Colleen: The Lord be with you. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in me, even though he dies, yet shall he live. He that lives and believes in me shall never die." You can take refuge in the hope of the resurrection on the Last Day, and the life eternal won for you and Gary on the cross of Christ. He lives and reigns with God, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. Let not your hearts be troubled. Grace, mercy, and peace to you. Amen.

May you rest in peace Gary. Thanks for the memories as a wonderful classmate at SMS and at the U of I. I will never forget how beautifully you read the readings at our 50th reunion mass. You were a quiet, unassuming intellectual and a man of strong faith. My prayers are with your family as they find peace in their loss. Kris Maurek Quinn
