     Diane Naeve, age 78 of Andover, passed away Wednesday, December, 4, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.  In following Diane’s wishes a private family service will be held with burial in Andover Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Diercks, Paul Heiar, Daniel Heiar, Ben Daehler, Zach Hudson, and Josh Wall.  The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.


     Diane was born in Clinton on November 15, 1941, the daughter of Lawrence and Beatrice (Hacker) Determan.  She graduated from Clinton High School in 1959.  Diane married Glenn H. Naeve on May 28, 1960 in Clinton.  Glenn passed away on February 20, 2018.  She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Andover, IA.  Diane spent many years employed at Andover Meat Locker. Throughout the years Diane enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, boating, bowling, golfing, fishing, taking vacations, and having family and friends drop by to visit.  


     Diane is survived by three children, Patti (Kevin) Diercks of Andover, Dan “Boone” (Marla) Naeve of Clinton and Lynn (Paul) Heiar of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Jennifer Diercks (Josh Wall), Kelli (Ben) Daehler, Allyson Naeve, Breanne (Zach) Hudson and Daniel Heiar; three great grandchildren, Cael and Cade Hudson and Brooklyn Daehler.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.    



In following Diane’s wishes a private family service will be held with burial in Andover Cemetery.

    Deepest Sympathy to the family.  I have known your Mother since Jr. High and was a very close friend until we both got married and was on the other end of the county I was the one who stood up for you Mom and Dad.  I talked to her when she was in the Nursing Home ans she was so looking forward on getting home and sounding so promising. She will be deeply miss by many.
