Carol Ann Milder - 77

Carol A. Milder, age 77 of Clinton, formerly of Preston, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Alverno.  In following Carol’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded with services to take place at a later date with burial in Miles Cemetery.  The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

 

     Carol was born in Clinton on November 1, 1942, the daughter of Harry and Bernice (Miller) Badrick.  She graduated from Preston High School and received an AA degree from Clinton Community College.  Carol married August Milder on March 12, 1961 in Preston.  August passed away in 2007. Carol had worked as a secretary in the Preston School District for many years.  She had also worked for a short time in both the Andrew and Clinton School Districts.  Carol was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Preston.  She enjoyed sewing and reading.

 

     Carol is survived by two daughters, Deb (Stanley Steines) Milder of Morrison, IL and Beth (Jeff) Haack of DeWitt; 4 grandchildren, Madison, Grace, Nichole and Joshua; her twin brothers, Robert (Helen) Badrick of Preston and Richard (Joyce) Badrick of Miles; her sister, Connie (Leonard) Bormann of Preston and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father.  Memorials may be made in Carol’s name to St. John Lutheran Church in Preston.  Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

    de, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss of your mother.  I do remember the conversations we shared about her.  A mother' loss is always hard and can be especially during this holiday season.  I am so sorry for you.
