My mother is Shirley Mills (Christiansen) from Miles. As a little kid I remember going to many dances at Gill's ballroom in Andover. What a great childhood memory! Gilbert and Marlene were wonderful people. Rest in peace, Gilbert.

Dear Tim, Dan and Marlene and the Bott family,  I am so very sorry to hear of Gilbert's passing.  He was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed having him as our school bus driver. We had him and also Dan as school bus drivers and on our route on Highway 136.  Gil's in Andover was the place to go for a great dance and I spent many, many hours there through the years!  Gil's in Clinton was also a great place and I got to eat and also attended a few events in the ballroom.   I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.
